Running and Operation
At Summer Meadow, we run a small horse stable where there are currently four horses. Chris and Jane Ray, the owners, volunteer at the local rescue squad as Emergency Medical Technicians. Amanda, the horseperson of the family, rides, trains, and exercises the horses. Also, she keeps up the barn and helps keep the horses healthy. Sara is the youngest, and prefers playing with Cowboy, our Golden Retriever, or one of our two other dogs. |

On the Farm:
Amanda took her first lesson on July 26. Lisa said that she was the most advanced beginner student that she has ever had.
Amanda has now started jumping, after only about ten lessons. She is doing very well and is confident.
"I'm A Tough Cowboy" our Golden Retriever, named after the renowed stallion Ima Tough Cowboy, is soon to be offered for breeding.
